January 3 - First day back to work after vacation

I was well-rested  for work today since I fell asleep about 8:30 last night and didn't wake up until 6:30 this morning.  I must have needed it.  The kids were tired today too.  Nobody wanted to rise and shine.

Leaving the house, I looked like the bag lady with my massive purse, my gym bag including my sneakers, my new lunch bag (packing as a health and cost-saving measure) and my laptop.  You would think I was homeless and carrying all of my belongings as I walked into work this morning.

Once I got there, the day wasn't that bad.  I had some interesting emails to catch up on, I did two sales reports by lunchtime, went to the gym and passed the afternoon working on revenue recognition files for close.  The life of an accountant is so exciting.....ummm...NOT!!!

Once I got home, I helped Corey with his homework and then off to my room to watch "The Bachelor".  I love January.  I don't watch much TV but I do enjoy this show.  I remember Brad Womack from the previous season and I'm looking forward to seeing how it goes this time.
