Another uneventful day during this snowing winter season.  I woke up this morning to about 8" of snow covering my car and no school for Corey.

Jack was so thoughtful and shoveled out my car so I could make my way to work.  I left the house and started my trek in the snow.  I stopped at the bagel shop because I knew I didn't have any cash for lunch.  I ordered both breakfast and lunch and started back on the road.  Just then, I remembered I forgot my work computer at the kitchen table.  Back home I go!

I arrived home and Jack was still shoveling.  I grabbed my computer and headed back on the road again!  Finally, after 2 hours, I arrived at work.  The funny part was that two of my co-workers were arriving too.  We all had our obstacles trying to keep us from work today.

The day went pretty slowly because it's quarter-end close and the revenue recognition process is so long and boring!  I was glad to see the clock strike 5:15.

I headed home and the house was empty.  Yeah!  I get to decide what to watch on TV.  Bring on the weekend!

Today I am thankful for:

11.  I am thankful that Jack cleared off my car this morning.

12.  I am thankful that I got to work safely.

13.  I am thankful that I was able to see the beautiful snow this morning.

14.  I am thankful that I was able to buy boots this weekend and my feet were warm today.

15.  I am thankful that my Christmas tree is still up (until tomorrow.....sad face)
